Leonard Cohen - Ten New Songs

'Everybody Knows' is a total classic in the Cohen discography...

Which begs the question, what would an entire album recorded in the style of 'Everybody Knows' sound like?

We now know the answer with 'Ten New Songs, as Sharon Robinson (who co-wrote 'Everybody Knows') is an extensive collaborator on this record!

This album is totally mellow and cool, the album cover helps to convey what awaits the listener.

My favorite song on here is 'By the Rivers Dark' because, yes, it reminds me the most of 'Everybody Knows'!!

'Everybody Knows'... Leonard Cohen is still going strong!

Yeah if you remember my radio show from back in the '90s you may recall that Leonard Cohens 'Everybody Knows' was my theme song.

Turns out that even to this day the Great Man, Leonard Cohen, is still performing it live!  Check it out!

This recent live version sounds good!  The band has added some slide guitars to give it a little different vibe, and man, Cohens voice has actually gotten DEEPER over the last 20 years!  Wasn't sure if that was possible, but it still sounds cool.

Dude is heading towards Barry White territory!  Ha ha!

In fact I'm going to throw in some Mr. White for a comparison.  Why not?
