It is about time that John McCain / Juan McAmnesty of the out of touch GOP establishment Rockefeller Republican- wing of the party had to hear an ear-ful from the voters!

McCain defends immigration plan to angry residents

During a heated town hall gathering in the Phoenix suburb of Sun Lakes, McCain said the border near Yuma is largely secure, but he said smugglers are using the border near Tucson to pump drugs into Phoenix. He said immigration reform should be contingent on better border security that must rely largely on technology able to detect border crossings.

McCain said a tamper-proof Social Security card would help combat identity fraud, and noted any path to citizenship must require immigrants to learn English, cover back taxes and pay fines for breaking immigration laws.

"There are 11 million people living here illegally," he said. "We are not going to get enough buses to deport them."

Some audience members shouted out their disapproval.

One man yelled that only guns would discourage illegal immigration. Another man complained that illegal immigrants should never be able to become citizens or vote. A third man said illegal immigrants were illiterate invaders who wanted free government benefits.

As a Libertarian Hard Harry412 knows that most of these folks are coming over and getting government handout at tax payer expense.  Also a little visit over to Vdare.com will reveal that most newly minted immigrants vote Democrat!

Republicans do not need to support an Amnesty that will cause the Republican party to disappear and cause Libertarianism to become any weaker then it already is!  Such a move would actually be anti-democratic since it would lead to a one-Party State!

The fact that new immigrants overwhelmingly vote for Democrats has been true for more than a century.  In the 1870s to 1890s it was Irish, Italians, Polish and Jews who did this.  Back then Republicans wisely put the clamps down with the 1924 immigration act, thus saving the Republican party for years to come so that hallowed heroes like Goldwater and Reagan would have a chance decades later!  Today it is Hispanics who are pouring over the border and bringing noxious Collectivist ideologies like Liberation Theology with them.  They are not crossing the Rio Grande holding up copies of 'Atlas Shrugged' and 'The Fountainhead' above the water to read in their new homeland!

Another sickening aspect of this McCain scheme was his appeal to religion:

That is not True and any research into the religious beliefs of the Founders Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine (both Deists) will quickly disprove this false McCain claim!

As a Libertarian I also know that American Citizen Ayn Rand, a part of the nation through the citizenship naturalization process, was an Atheist and Libertarian role model!

Rand 'Reagan' Paul? Kentucky Senator channels the Gipper!!

In what may be the first few moves of a 2016 Presidential bid, Sen. Rand Paul has apparently begun channeling the great President Ronald Reagan for his policy ideas!

Rand Paul called Wednesday for “a saner, more balanced approach to foreign policy” in a speech to the Heritage Foundation aimed at destigmatizing his views on the subject.

The libertarian senator from Kentucky, a probable 2016 Republican presidential candidate, presented himself as solidly within the mainstream. He called himself “a realist – not a neoconservative, nor an isolationist.”

On what would have been Ronald Reagan’s 102nd birthday, he explained that the 40th president’s foreign policy is “much closer to what I am advocating than what we have today.”

“Reagan’s foreign policy was robust but also restrained,” said Paul. “He pulled no punches in telling Mr. Gorbachev to ‘tear down that wall.’ He did not shy away from labeling the Soviet Union as an evil empire. But he also sat down with Gorbachev and negotiated meaningful reductions in nuclear weapons.”

The INTOLERANCE of liberal MSNBC!

In one of the strangest twists in World History liberalism is itself becoming a bastion of intolerance!

1.) Lawrence O'Donnells shameful attacks on Mormonism.  I thought liberals bought into the Enlightenment and believed in Religious Freedom, huh?  Guess that does not apply to Mormons.  Luckily O'Donnell was forced to apologize for this segment later:

2;) MSNBC has recently taken to having guests on who use racial slurs to describe Whites!  In this particular case a woman named Finney described Whites as 'Crackers'.

 I thought liberals subscribed to Tolerance... guess that does not apply to Whites.  One should be greatly concerned that these verbal attacks on Whites may foreshadow actual attacks on the Rights of Whites in the future!

Rand Paul TALKS HARD about King Barrack I!!

I'm not worried anymore about Ron Pauls retirement now that Rand Paul has proven that he can TALK HARD about the dictatorial bent that the Federal Government seems to be on!!!

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) gave an interview to the Christian Broadcasting Network in which he rather strongly denounced President Obama’s threats to impose gun control through executive orders.  

”I’m against having a king,” said the Senator.  ”I think having a monarch is what we fought the American Revolution over, and someone who wants to bypass the Constitution, bypass Congress, that’s someone who wants to act like a king or monarch.”

Is Michael Savage TALKING HARD?!?!

In the early '90s Right-Wing talk radio was still in its infancy.

Rush Limbaugh led the way but is too corporate for my taste.  He is always dressing up in business suits and what not.  There is more to life then just business.  What about freedom?  Freedom has always been a core tenet of the Hard Harry412 message.

However since that time a number of new hosts have emerged who are clearly TALKING HARD.  This included Alex Jones.

It is time to explore if Michael Savage could be classed as one of these.

He has just called for a new third party to be formed, that is pretty radical and certainly something that could be classed under the TALK HARD rubric.

Conservative radio host Michael Savage spoke out against Republicans and Democrats alike on Sunday for pulling a "charade" on the American people, and called for a third political party.

"We need a Nationalist party in the United States of America," Savage said on WABC's "Aaron Klein Investigative Radio," according to WND.

The third-most widely heard talk show host, behind only Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity in ratings, explained a new, third "Nationalist" party could focus on "borders, language and culture."

Not sure how this collectivist racism could be reconciled with my own Libertarian message of Freedom.  Maybe a reading of Murray Rothbard could help me to come to some reconciliation of the two but for now I am going to leave Savage on the back-burner and continue listening to Alex Jones (and Michael Levin as well).

Bailing on Dennis Miller...

Having become a Free-Speech loving Libertarian I am announcing that I am bailing on listening to fellow Libertarian Dennis Millers radio show.

Used to like his show.  He used to do all kinds of cool rants that even reminded me of some of my own from back in the day.  His journey to Libertarianism mirrored my own in some ways and he felt almost like a kindred spirit.

However lately Miller has been advising listeners to just basically 'give up' and become a zombie instead of becoming involved and knowledgeable about politics and attempting to implement some type of healing change!  

He has told listeners he plans to 'shrug' (as in 'Atlas Shrugged' ) but I fear he doesn't really get it!  John Galt may have shrugged, but he was still ideologically committed to his beliefs and even established a Libertarian Redout known as 'Galts Gulch'.  

Maybe since he has made so much dough he just doesn't care anymore, he has 'got his' so to speak.  Maybe he just lost the fire in his belly?

Also this is the worst possible time to just 'give up' and 'concentrate on yourself'.  Rand Paul is in the Senate!  Some of Obamas liberal statist authoritarian agenda is just getting out of the starting gates and could be stopped before hitting full speed by enough committed citizen activists talking hard!

Heroes of the fiscal cliff!

All is not lost for fiscal conservatives and Libertarians who are concerned about an over-spending and all encroaching Federal Government.  (Look at TSA agents who want to grab your 'junk'!  Yikes!)

Rubio is cool and all, but the truth of the matter is his dad is not Ron Paul and he may not have the all-powerful Aqua Buddha in his corner either!  So Rand Paul is just a notch higher on the totem pole so-to-speak in my mind:

Waking up from Statist Authoritarianism

Over the years, since my run in with a mean high-school principle (Loretta Cresswood), I have come to distrust liberal Statist Institutions peopled with Loretta Cresswoods and have increasingly headed towards a Libertarian position.

In this I am far from alone!  Was watching 'Stossel' the other night and was mesmerized to see former MTV VJs Kurt Loder and Kennedy... turns out they are both Libertarians!  I didn't know that and had been watching them for years!!  We are not alone!

Here is another surprising example of someone turning against the Obama status-quo: Oliver Stone!  Heck even he is turning against the liberal statist authoritarian establishment!!
