Whereas 'Destroyer' had a lot of more experimental songs ('Expectations' & 'Beth'), this album is more of a straight ahead rocker!
I've actually come to like this album more then 'Destroyer'. I think alot of the reason that 'Destroyer' is so immensely popular is that it was the first KISS studio album that many people had back in the 1970s, so they naturally prefer it over later albums.
It sounds good too! Love the guitar sound on 'I Want You' and the Genes bass on 'Dr. Love'.
